Willard C. Herrin Jr., 83, Plover, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Atrium Post Acute Care in Stevens Point.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Marty Nolet officiating. Burial will be at Meehan Cemetery in the town of Plover at a later date.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the services.

Mr. Herrin was born May 29, 1932, in Green Bay, a son of the
late Willard Sr. and Almina (Schenk) Herrin. He graduated from Lincoln High
School in Wisconsin Rapids.

He was married to Shirley Monk Oct. 13, 1951, in Kellner.

He was employed by Nekoosa Paper Mill before he and his wife
moved to Park Falls, where they owned and operated Northwoods Crafts and Gifts
for more than 20 years before retiring to Plover.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; seven children, Charles
(Judy) Herrin, Cynda (Griff) Collier, Phillip (Lauri) Herrin, Randy (JoAnn)
Herrin, Kathy (Steve) Fredock, Laurie (Rosie) Herrin and Bradley (Anne) Herrin;
14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two infant children.
