Mark Motors Safety Day Coming This Weekend

Mark Motors’ annual Safety Fair is being held on Sat., May 14 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The popular event will feature a motorcycle simulator, hands-only CPR/AED demonstrations and a vehicle extraction demo; known as the “jaws of life”, that event will take place at 11 AM and 1 PM.
Portage Co. K-9 Lady, along with her partner Deputy John White, will make an appearance at 11:30 AM.
A medical helicopter is also scheduled to appear at the fair at 12:30 PM. Plover police will also demonstrate their unmanned aerial vehicle at 12:30 PM.
The event will also feature kids games, balloons and face painting, as well as child fingerprinting by the Portage Co. Sheriff’s Office. Plover police and fire/EMS, as well as Grand Rapids Fire Dept., will also be on hand.
Food will be available for purchase from the Boys and Girls Club.
The event is free and open to the public. Mark Toyota Scion is located at 1765 Park Ave., in Plover’s Village Park.
