Mary Ann Rein, 80, Mosinee, a retired nursing director at
St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point, died at her home Saturday, May 14,
2016, after a four-month battle with cancer. She was under the care of Aspirus
Comfort Care and Hospice Services.


A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May
21, at United Methodist Church in Mosinee, with the Rev. Stanton Bockwoldt
officiating.


Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until
the service. A luncheon at the church will follow.


Beste Funeral Home in Mosinee assisted with arrangements. Condolences

Mrs. Rein was born Jan. 27, 1936, in Chicago, Ill., a
daughter of the late William and Dorothy Kehoe.


She completed her nursing degree at St. Anthony’s Hospital
in Rockford, Ill., in 1956.


She was married to Henry Rein Oct. 22, 1960.


They resided in the Chicago area until moving to Mosinee in
1974, with their two daughters.


She worked for many years as the Intensive Care Unit Nursing
Director at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point. She retired in 1998.


Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Henry Rein, Mosinee;
two daughters, Kathy (John) Schlatterer, Mosinee, and Karen (Don) Moyer, Goodhue,
Minn.; one brother, Robert (Patricia) Kehoe, Plainfield, Ill.; and two
grandchildren.
