‘Tame the Flame’ 5K Fundraiser Held Saturday

The Park Ridge Fire Department will hold its first-ever Tame the Flame fundraiser 5K on Saturday.
The fun run/walk will raise money for new equipment and uniforms for Park Ridge firefighters. The route travels through the Village of Park Ridge and the Green Circle Trail.
The event will kick off at the Park Ridge Village Hall, 24 Crestwood Dr., and includes music, food and beverages, inflatable jousting and fire truck/equipment display.
In-person registration is $25. Participants can register at the village hall on Saturday beginning at 9 AM. The 5K begins at 10 AM.
