Wilma ‘Billie’ Bloeser

Wilma “Billie” Bloeser, 91, Stevens Point, formerly of Green Bay, died Saturday, May 14, 2016, while under the care of Ministry Hospice in Stevens Point.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Lyndahl Funeral Home in Green Bay.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Thursday until the service.

Mrs. Bloeser was born May 5, 1925, in Antigo, a daughter of
the late Augusta (Laabs) and Burtis Bard. She attended Antigo High School.

She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison,
earning a degree in medical technology.

She worked as a medical technician in both Salt Lake City,
Utah, and Minneapolis, Minn., before settling down in Green Bay to raise her
family.

She was married to Robert Bloeser June 17, 1950. They were
married for 64 years before his death.

She was an avid pianist and a choir member at First
Presbyterian Church in Green Bay. She often would play the piano accompaniment
for high school solo and ensemble competitions for her children and their
friends.

Survivors include one son, Jeff
(Cindy) Bloeser, Sturgeon Bay; two daughters, Kris (Jim) McKeever, Antigo, and
Beth (Bob) Derezinski, Stevens Point; and five grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie
Bidwell and Marion Putz; and one brother, John Bard.
