Post Road Railroad Crossing Closed Beginning Monday

A portion of Post Road in the Village of Plover is scheduled to close for the week of May 16.
Bus. 51 will close just south of Chestnut Dr. at the railroad crossing for at least a week. Traffic will be rerouted via County Hwy. B, I-39 and County Hwy. HH. Motorists are asked to plan ahead.
The roadway is currently undergoing a $45 million remodel throughout Plover and Whiting, part of an agreement with the Dept. of Transportation before ownership of the road is transferred to the respective villages.
The project, which began in April, is currently in its first phase, focusing on a portion of road between Green Drive and Springville Drive.
The final project will include bike lanes, buried utilities, dedicated turn lanes and a wider roadway, and is expected to be complete by 2021.
