James A. Brathovde
James A. Brathovde, 77, Plover, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 23, at Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst.
The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst assisted with

Mr. Brathovde was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Stevens Point, a son
of the late Anton and Evelyn Brathovde.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1957.
He was married to Ann Marshall April 10, 1958, in
Biffleswade, England. She died April 16, 2015.
Survivors include three children: Carrie (Gary) Carr,
Custer, Jill Brathovde, New London, and Eric Brathovde, Stevens Point; one brother,
Richard (Debbie) Brathovde, West Bend; one sister, Marilyn (Donald) Minkley,
Washington; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two children, Sandra and
James.
