Donna M. Schroeder, 79, Almond, died Sunday, May 22, 2016,
at the Lodge at Whispering Pines in Plover.


A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28,
at St. John Lutheran Church in Almond, with the Rev. Brian Roehrborn officiating.
Burial will be at Plainfield Village Cemetery in the town of Plainfield in
Waushara County.


Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until
the service.


The Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.hollyfuneralhome.com.


Mrs. Schroeder was born March 20, 1937, in Wausau, a
daughter of the late Anthony and Frances (Matson) Mientke.


She was married to Arleigh R. Schroeder Dec. 6, 1952, in
Oshkosh. They were married 57 years before he died Sept. 8, 2010.


She worked as a waitress at Two Lakes Supper Club in Almond
for 25 years.


She was active in the Ladies Aid Society at St. John
Lutheran Church for many years, making quilts and greeting cards.


Survivors include three children, Carol Knope, Richfield,
Susan (Kevin) Lemke, Almond, and Alan (Alison) Schroeder, Plover; one sister, Joyce
(Bill) Freiberg, Oshkosh; two brothers, James (Nancy) Mientke, Portage, and Bob
(Gwen) Williams, Oshkosh; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert
Williams Sr.; twin sons, Daniel and David Schroeder; and one grandson.
