Garbage Races: A 29-year-old woman requested extra patrol near County Line Dr. and Pulaski Rd. in Rosholt at 10:54 AM after she complained about frequent caring racing and littering on the roadway.

Disturbance: Police were called to the 1300 block of Third St. at 1:54 AM after a caller reported a 45-year-old man was causing a disturbance there.

Wrong-Way Drunk Driver: A 22-year-old man was arrested at the corner of Division and Franklin streets at 3:18 AM for first offense OWI, failure to obey a traffic signal and driving the wrong way down a one-way street.

Unruly Teenager: Police responded to P.J. Jacobs Jr. High at 2:17 PM to cite a 14-year-old boy for loud and abusive arguing against another student.

Motorcycle v Turkey: Deputies were called to the scene after a motorcyclist hit a turkey near Hwy. 10 and County Trunk QQ at 5:27 PM. The driver of the motorcycle, a 58-year-old man, sustained no injuries but the mirror of his motorcycle was damaged.

Rabid ‘Coon: A caller reported hearing a gunshot at 8:43 PM on the 5500 block of County Trunk D in Plainfield. When deputies arrived they encountered a 54-year-old man who said he’d shot a rabid raccoon.

May 21

Mailbox Fatality: A 80-year-old man reported someone had smashed the mailbox of his North Reserve Dr. home at 8:49 AM. Value of the loss is estimated at $80.

Disturbance in a Bar: Police were called to a bar on the 900 block of Main St. at 2:17 AM after a 47-year-old man reported an intoxicated 26-year-old man was causing a disturbance.

Stolen Flower Basket: Police recovered a hanging flower basket stolen from Shopko at 6 AM. The basket was discovered in the driveway of a nearby home.

Trespassing: Police warned three men, ages 39, 50 and 51, for entering the property without permission on the 1200 block of West Whitney St. at 8:38 AM.

Car v Rock: Deputies responded at 3:21 PM when a 63-year-old woman crashed her vehicle into a rock on the 3900 block of Sunset Dr. in Mosinee.

Stolen Shopping Cart: A 20-year-old woman found a shopping cart stolen from the downtown location of Shopko at 10:46 AM and returned it to the store.

Crash: A 51-year-old man was cited for failure to keep his vehicle under control after causing a two-vehicle crash with a 53-year-old man near Main St. and Wildwood Drive. No injuries were reported.

Fist Fight: Police were called to the 1400 block of Torun Rd. after a caller reports a 51-year-old man had struck a 37-year-old man in the face during an argument.

Drunk Plate Thrower: Police responded to the 1000 block of First St. after a caller reported his 28-year-old “very intoxicated” son began throwing plates and breaking glass. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct and domestic abuse.

Stolen Bike Light: A 54-year-old man called police at 10:37 to report a red light had been stolen from his bicycle as it was parked on the 900 block of Second Street.

Illegal Window Tint: A 46-year-old man was warned for driving with illegal window tint during a traffic stop at 5:44 PM near County Rd. R and Black Oak Drive.

Drunk Walker: Deputies encountered a 33-year-old intoxicated male who was walking home along Torun Rd. at 2:26 AM. The deputies gave the man a ride to his residence.

Wrong House: A 65-year-old man called deputies at 3:29 AM to report a 27-year-old intoxicated woman on his front porch. The woman was picked up by her boyfriend.

May 22

Pay Attention: A 32-year-old man was cited for operating after suspension, passing into oncoming traffic and inattentive driving after crashing into the vehicle of the 51-year-old male driver at 7:13 AM. No injuries were reported.

Facebook Bully: Police warned a 23-year-old woman about posting harassing comments on a 26-year-old woman’s Facebook page at 5:45 PM.

No Donuts Here: Deputies cited an 18-year-old man for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle after he was caught whipping donuts near Ridge Rd. and Hwy. 10 at 5:21 PM.

Disturbance: Deputies were called to the 2700 block of BJ Court at 8:40 PM after a caller reported men yelling and swearing at each other. The men agreed to stop for the night.
