Nay-osh-ing DAR installs new officers

Nay-osh-ing Chapter, Plover, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) met May 18 to install new officers.
Doris Dahlke, Nay-osh-ing vice regent and chair of the DAR Schools Committee, presented a program on goals and information about each of the schools. The DAR supports Tamassee DAR School in S.C.; Kate Duncan Smith DAR School in Grant, Ala.; Crossnore DAR School in N.C.; Hillside School in Marlborough, Mass.; Hindman Settlement School in Hindman, Ky.; Bacone College, Muskogee, Okla.; Berry College in Mount Berry, Ga.; and Chemawa Indian School in Salem, Ore.
New officers elected and installed included Shannon Moore, regent; Marjorie Kietlinski, vice regent; Doris Dahlke, chaplain; Joanne Hagen, recording secretary; Janet Zblewski, corresponding secretary; Lisa Hansen, treasurer; Susan Schultz Hopfensperger, registrar; Hope Niedling, registrar emerita; Betty Andringa, historian; Sara Hagen, librarian; and Hope Niedling, parliamentarian.
Any woman 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership in the DAR.
