Jason ‘Jay’ Bethke

Jason “Jay” Bethke, 40, Marshfield, a former Stevens Point resident, died Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield after an 18-month battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Woodlands Church, 190 Hoover Ave., Plover, with Pastor John Jordens officiating. Burial will be in Augusta later.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
A memorial will be established in his name.

Mr. Bethke was born Sept. 9, 1975, in Stevens Point, a son
of Victor and Jennifer (Livermore) Bethke. He graduated from Stevens Point Area
Senior High School in 1994.
He received a degree in computer information services from the
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2001.
For the past 16 years, he worked as a network engineering
manager in Marshfield.
He earned a pilot’s license.
Survivors include his parents, Victor and Jennifer Bethke,
Plover; and his fiancée, Keisha Vehrs.
