Plover to Hold Community Arbor Day/Bird Day Celebration

The Village of Plover has scheduled a public celebration in honor of Community Arbor Day and the village’s designation as a Bird City community.
The celebration will take place at 10 AM on June 9 in Pleasant Acres Park, 1725 Porter Road.
The event is being organized by Roy Hopfensperger, assistant public works manager for the village. Officials from the Plover Board of Trustees and village employees, along with the public, are invited to attend.
Sponsors for the event include Wisconsin Public Service Corporation, LK Enterprise and Green Tree Nursery.
