John C. Kloberdanz, 88, Stevens Point, died Friday, May 6, 2016, at Atrium Post Acute Care in Stevens Point.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second St., Stevens Point.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Saturday until the service. Burial will be at the Omro Cemetery in Omro.

Pisarski Funeral Homes & Cremation Center of Stevens
Point and Plover assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online
at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.

Mr. Kloberdanz was born Feb. 7, 1928, in Chicago, Ill., a
son of the late Margaret (Applehans) and Alexander Kloberdanz. He was a
graduate of Omro High School class of 1947.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, stationed
at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, N.C.

Following his military service, he attended Notre Dame
University.

He worked for the Federal
Deposit Insurance Company (FDIC) as a bank auditor in Hillside, Ill. He relocated
back to Wisconsin to be close to his aging parents and worked as a
bar/restaurant manager at several establishments in northeastern Wisconsin. He
also spent time working in the computer department at Fox Valley Technical College
in Oshkosh.

In later years, he relocated to the Iola area and assisted in transporting the elderly to and from medical facility visits.

Survivors include two sisters, Anna Oddo, Waterford, and
Rose Marie Jorgensen, St. Charles, Ill.; numerous nieces and nephews; and his
caregivers, Claude and Michelle Scott, Iola.

He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Francis
Flathau, Leona Kroening, Margarette Pizzi and Katherine Williams; and two brothers,
Peter and Alexander Kloberdanz.
