Second Annual Phantom Party Coming June 17

For the City Times
CREATE Portage County is hosting its second Phantom Gallery Party in partnership with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association.
As the official after party to the Energy Fair, the event will take place Friday, June 17 from 8 PM until midnight at a location to be revealed.
As part of its ‘Thriving Entertainment’ goal, which supports more experienced-focused entertainment in Portage County, Phantom Galleries turn rough spaces into temporary art galleries for one night only. The events feature great art, great food, and great entertainment in an unexpected location somewhere in Portage County that will be revealed the day before.
Both the theme – Earth & Industry – and the location were selected to enhance this partnership, which seeks to incorporate art into the rich tradition that is the Energy Fair.
The second Phantom Gallery will be brought to life by the progressive bluegrass band Armchair Boogie, and local visual artists Boleslaw and August Kochanowski, Angie Hall, Logan Erickson, Joy Ratchkramer, Ahna Butt and Robert Rosen.
Proceeds generated by CREATE experiences support investments in the arts, culture, and creativity in Portage County. In addition to supporting future experiences, these funds support public art initiatives, arts advocacy, place-making efforts, and the IDEA Center.
Early Bird tickets are $30, and are $35 after June 10. Tickets are available online via Eventbrite. Visit www.createportagecounty.org for more information.
