Rita A. Felton, 78, Plover, died Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Plover, with Deacon Vern Linzmeier officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Mrs. Felton was born March 21, 1938, in Burlington, a
daughter of the late R. William and Leona (Wiemer) Rittmann. She graduated from
Thomas Aquinas High School in Waterford.

She later graduated from the certified nursing assistant
program at Mid-State Technical College.

She was married to Robert Felton in 1956 in Waterford. He died
in 1979.

She was a longtime resident of both Wood and Portage counties
and worked as a certified nursing assistant at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in
Port Edwards, retiring in 2004.

She had been a member of St. Bronislava Catholic Church in
Plover.

Survivors include six sons and daughters, Charles (Janet)
Felton, Wisconsin Rapids, Greg (Shelly) Felton, Fond du Lac, Rhonda Felton,
Nekoosa, Debra (Roy) Hopfensperger, Plover, and Kelly Felton and Kim (Mike
Meddaugh) Ladwig, both of Medford; four sisters, Marylee Blodgett, Jeanne
(Dave) Ketterhagen, Jayne (Bill) Rice and Georgiann (Dwain) Knapp; 12 grandchildren;
and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert William
Jr.; and one brother, Ronald Rittmann.
