SPASH softball wins State Title
The Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) softball
team won the WIAA Division 1 State Title at Goodman Diamond in Madison
Saturday, June 11.
The third-ranked Panthers trailed eighth-ranked Watertown
3-1 heading into the top of the third inning in the State Championship Game,
when SPASH rallied for six runs to take a 7-3 lead, and went on to a 16-4
victory to claim its ninth State Title in program history.
