Steven C. Langeberg, 39, Stevens Point, died Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the Aurora Residential Adult Family Home in Stevens Point.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 16, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in the town of Sigel, with the Rev. Robert Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Parish Cemetery in the town of Sigel.

Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the services.

Mr. Langeberg was born March 8, 1977, in Wisconsin Rapids, a
son of Agnes (Grabowski) Langeberg and the late Charles Langeberg. He was born
with autism. He attended the Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools in special
education.

He was a Special Olympic athlete, participating in cross
country skiing and swimming.

Survivors include his mother, Agnes Langeberg, Wisconsin
Rapids; three brothers, Daniel (Darlene Baker) Langeberg, Eagle, Joseph (Melinda)
Langeberg, Onalaska, and John (Yvonne) Langeberg, Baraboo; five sisters, Diane
Percefull, Mount Vernon, Wash., Bernadette Loving, Fayetteville, N.C., Andrea
(Norbert) Pecher, Vesper, Jennifer (Todd) Bauer, Ogdensburg, and Mary (Elmer)
Bonikowske, Ogdensburg; nieces; and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Herman
Loving Jr.; and a special friend and helper, Blaine “Miss Bunny” Hall.
