Church of the Intercession to Hold Vigil, Petition-Signing

The Church of the Intercession is hosting a prayer vigil for victims of Sunday’s nightclub shooting in Orlando on Wed., June 15.
The vigil will begin at 5:15 PM and at 6 PM. The service is open to the public.
The church will also circulate a petition asking for a ban on assault weapons.
“We will gather to lift our voices in prayer due to the loss of life and the heart-breaking amount of violence on Sunday morning, June 12th at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida,” reads a news release from the church.
Church of the Intercession is located at 1417 Church Street in the downtown district.
