The Association of Downtown Businesses (ADB) has invited local nonprofit groups to participate in this year’s Discover Downtown.

The third-annual event, a showcase of all the Stevens Point downtown businesses formerly known as Krazy Days, returns to Downtown Stevens Point July 15 and 16. Discover Downtown hours are 10 AM to 6 PM on Friday and 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday.

Clubs, troops, teams, dancers and performers are invited to apply for a limited number of Main Street spots. Applications are available here. Family-friendly displays or booths are $10 for non-ADB members.

This year’s event will include a sidewalk sale, live music, geode cracking, a fish pond, farmer’s market, llamas, a puppet theater and kayak demo.

Food vendors include pizza and snow cones from Bill’s Pizza, items from Guu’s and Green Tea, wraps and ice cream floats from Graffiti’s, and “something special” from Cozy Kitchen. The Coffee Studio will also offer sandwiches, ice tea and coffee.
