Leland L. Rendall

Leland L. Rendall, 95, Waupaca, a former Almond area
resident, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca.
Per his wishes, no services will be held. Burial of ashes
will take place at the East Oasis Cemetery in the town of Oasis in Waushara
County.
Memorials are appreciated to World Vision International, the
Leukemia Foundation or the Almond Methodist Church.

Mr. Rendall was born July 10, 1920, in the town of Oasis in
Waushara County, a son of the late Orrin and Bessie (Frederick) Rendall.
He was married to Ruby Bateman April 3, 1943.
He was a pilot with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War
II, receiving rank of captain.
He owned and operated a farm for most of his life in Almond.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby; three sons, Vernon
(Shary), Douglas (Susan) and John (Karen); three daughters, Judy Feist, Rebecca
(Scott) Purchatzke and Mary Rendall; one sister, Doris Huhta; 15 grandchildren;
and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Claire,
Norman, Sumner and Russell Rendall; and two sisters, Thelma McDowell and Edna
Ramsey.
