Bette Lou Nimz, 95, Stevens Point, died her eternal home on
Monday, June 20, 2016. She had been a resident of Crossroads Crystal River
Nursing and Rehab in Waupaca for more than two years.


A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 11,
at Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Susan
Zencka presiding. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the
town of Grand Rapids in Wood County.


Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Monday, July
11, until the service.


Donations in her name would be appreciated to Frame Memorial
Presbyterian Church in Stevens Point.


Boston Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Condolences
may be offered online at www.bostonfuneralhome.net.


Mrs. Nimz was born March 21, 1921, in Elkins, W.V., the only
child of Ada Jo (Hedges) and Charlie (C.H.) Dent. They moved to Stevens Point
where she attended the local schools and would reside most of her life.


She was married to Hank Nimz in 1939. He died in 1998.


She was primarily a homemaker but also worked part-time for
Campbell’s/McCain’s Department Store in the jewelry and cosmetic departments.


She was a member of a local bridge club, and she and her
husband spent time at their cottage on Hasbrook Lake near Lake Tomahawk.


She was a member of Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church for
nearly 84 years. She served in many capacities at the church and was an active
member of the Presbyterian Women’s group.


Survivors include three children, Candy (Bob) Kubisiak,
Phoeniz, Ariz., Tammy (Paul) Kenowski, Stevens Point, and Greg (Kathy) Nimz,
Los Gatos, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Draeger and Marge Nimz; one brother-in-law,
Mark Redetske; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
