Hull Girl Awarded ‘Best of Show’ in 4-H Clothing Revue

Members of 4-H clubs around Portage Co. had a chance to showcase their handmade clothing on June 14.
The 2016 Portage County 4-H Clothing Revue took place in the Portage Co. Annex. Judging was done by Lois Sadogierski.
Junior Best of Show went to 10-year-old Lucy Gwidt of the Casimer Boosters 4-H Club. Lucy is the daughter of Paul and Sarah Gwidt. She attends St. Stephen Elementary School in Stevens Point and is a resident of the Town of Hull.
Other category participants included:
Clothes You Make for Yourself: Lucy Gwidt of the Casimer Boosters, Juniper Rydberg of the Casimer Boosters and Clare Viau of the Sunnyside Climbers all received blue ribbons for the garments they made and modeled.
Explorers: Cassandra Karl of the Silver Knights received a blue ribbon for modeling her garment in the Exploring class.
Cloverbuds (K-2): Two Cloverbuds attended the clothing revue. Andrew Helbach of the Tomorrow River Voyagers and Pierce Karl of the Silver Knights both presented and received Cloverbud participation ribbons and certificates.
