The Plover Fastpitch 13’s won the 2016 Wisconsin Rapids Fastpitch Tournament June 17-19 at the Kellner Ballfields near Wisconsin Rapids.

The team went 6-0 to claim the tournament’s 14U championship, clinching the contest on Father’s Day.

In pool play, the Plover Fastpitch 13’s went 4-0, beating Point Fastpitch 14’s 9-2, then Marshfield 8-2, Rapids Rage 7-0 and the Tomah Stix 9-3.

In the semi-final game, the Plover 13’s won a tight game against Marshfield 3-2. In the championships, the Plover 13’s beat the Rapids Rage 8-0.
