Police & Sheriff Calls, June 20-21
Disturbance: Police responded to a residence on the 2600 block of Minnesota Ave. after a caller reported a verbal family disturbance involving three men, ages 61, 65 and 74 at 10:34 AM.
Lost Pool Cue: A 22-year-old man called deputies to report he’d lost his pool cue at 4:52 PM from a home on the 9200 block of Four Mile Lane. The cue was later found at the caller’s parent’s home.
Punctuated With a Gun: Police arrested a 28-year-old man for disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and intentionally pointing a firearm at a person after police responded to reports of a disturbance involving a gun at a home on the 2600 block of Sunset Blvd. at 10:18 AM.
Teenage Angst: A 39-year-old woman called police at 1 PM after her 17-year-old daughter began throwing items in a home on the 2600 block of Bush Ct. and “messing up the living room”.
Fake Money: An employee at Trigs, 1600 Academy Ave., called police at 3:49 PM to report fake $20 bills.
Can’t Pay for Gas: A gas station employee called police when a 62-year-old man was unable to pay for the gas he pumped on the 3200 block of Church Street. Police later discovered the man was homeless, and the gas station employee allowed for him to make payment arrangements.
