Chester ‘Chet’ Wroblewski

Chester “Chet” Wroblewski, 88, town of Carson, died
Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at his home, while under the care of Ministry Home
Hospice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
June 24, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek, with the Rev. Dennis
Stanchik officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Guardian
Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday.

Mr. Wroblewski was born June 26, 1927, in Custer, a son of the
late Steven and Pearl (Berna) Wroblewski. As a child, the
family moved to Stevens Point, and he attended St. Peter Grade School and
Emerson High School.
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and earned the
Victory Ribbon.
After his honorable discharge, he returned to the area. He
worked at the Whiting Mill and later Kimberly Clark, retiring in 1989 after a
38-year career.
He was married to Maxine Kieliszewski Dec. 21, 1987, in
Stevens Point.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine; two brothers, Louis
Wroblewski, Minocqua, and Carl (Grace) Wroblewski, Plover; one sister, Patsy
(Leonard) Stanislawski, Stevens Point; three stepchildren, Rochelle (Ken)
Bumblak, Karen (John) Schultz and T.J. (Wendy) Losinski; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, John Wroblewski;
and one sister, Esther Lukes.
