Elaine C. Kruzitski
Elaine C. “Good Girl” Kruzitski, 76, Plover, an owner of the former Johnny & Elaine’s bar in Arnott and Plover, died Saturday June 25, 2016, at Whispering Pines Assisted Living in Plover.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 30, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. Dan Oudenhoven officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Home in Plover from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, with a general rosary prayed at 7 p.m., and at the church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Kruzitski was born July 1, 1939, in Stevens Point, a
daughter of Grace “Marion” (Grant) Dakins and the late Carroll “Kelly”
Dakins. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
She was married to John Kruzitski May 23, 1959, at St. Mary
of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Custer. He died Feb. 22, 1999.
She worked for the Stevens Point school system as a cook for
many years before she and her husband opened Johnnie & Elaine’s in Arnott,
which they operated from 1970 to 1976 when they moved the business to Plover.
Survivors include three daughters, Dawn (Gerard) Sankey,
Plover, Debra (Thomas) Kerchefski, Stevens Point, and Denise (Richard) Somers,
Plover; her mother, Marion Dakins, Plover; two sisters, La Vonne (Richard)
Hanson and Karen (Paul) Pliska, both of Plover; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by an infant brother and a
granddaughter.
