Jean C. Borski

Jean Cecilia Borski, 88, Stevens Point, died Saturday, June 25.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 30, at St. Peter Church in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, with the St. Peter Rosary Society praying a rosary at 6 p.m., and in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

Mrs. Borski was born July 16, 1917, the middle daughter of the
late Steven and Mary (Suchowski) King.
She was married to Robert “Stretch” Borski Nov. 24, 1937, at
St. Casimir Catholic Church in the town of Hull. He died Jan. 13, 1995.
They spent the early years of their marriage between Stevens
Point and Milwaukee, moving to Stevens Point permanently around 1950.
She was a member of the St. Peter’s Rosary Society and
helped distribute St. Peter Church bulletins to various places.
She worked tying flies for the Worth company and also worked at
Portesi’s Pizza.
She was a resident for two years at Willow Brooke senior
living in Stevens Point.
Survivors include six children, Diane (David) Mozuch, Ron (Germaine)
Borski, Barbara Kulick, Sharon and Denny, all of the Stevens Point area, and
David (Joanie) Borski, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two siblings, Leonard and
Dorothy; 13 grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; 18 great-grandchildren; and
three great-stepgrandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Roman,
Edward, Harry, Stanley, Bernie and Carl King; two sisters, Theresa and Anna;
and one grandson.
