Jean Cecilia Borski

Jean Cecilia Borski passed away peacefully on Sat., June 25.
A two-year resident at Willow Brooke senior living in Stevens Point, she was born on July 16, 1917. The middle daughter of Steven (born October 29, 1884 on the local family farm) and Mary (Suchowski) King (born August 22, 1885 in Poland), Jean was preceded in death by her brothers, Roman, Edward, Harry, Stanley, Bernie, Carl, and sisters Theresa and Anna. Her surviving younger siblings are Leonard and Dorothy.
She married Robert Borski on November 24, 1937 at St. Casimir Catholic church in the Town of Hull. Robert died January 13, 1995. Bob and Jean had six children, Diane, Ron, Barbara, David, Sharon and Denny. All reside in the Stevens Point area except David who lives in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Diane was married to Robert Adamski (deceased). They had three children Jim, Rob and Lisa. Lisa is married to David O’Keefe with two children Stephanie and Ian. Diane is currently married to David Mozuch (step daughter, Larea).
Ron and his wife Germaine (Rzentkowski) had five children Brian, Lori, Steven-deceased, Leigh Ann and Jason. Steven and Amber (Weronke) had two daughters Aubrey and Autumn and also two stepdaughters Shannon and Avery (Clark). Leigh Ann is married to Lee Lehman and they have three children Olivia, Sydney and Charlie.
Barbara and her husband Dennis (deceased) Kulick had four boys. Chris and his wife Julie have a daughter Jessica and son Nick. Michael and his wife Andrea have three children, Emma, Charlie and Sam. Jeff and his wife Cindy, her children, son Chris and daughter Sterling, and finally Kevin and wife Kerry.
David is currently married to Joanie (Reister) He has two children from a previous marriage, Benjamin and Rebecca. Benjamin and his wife Karrie have three children David, Karlie and Kaylie. Rebecca has 3 children Allyson, Ashley and Cooper and is currently married to Brad Cook and his son Bennett.
Jean and her husband Bob (Stretch) spent the early years of their marriage between Stevens Point and Milwaukee moving here permanently around 1950.
She could be found with a beaming smile on her face especially while playing Bingo or cards with family members. Later in life she enjoyed traveling and she was especially fond of the color blue. She was a member of the St. Peter Rosary Society and helped distribute St. Peter’s church bulletins to various places. Past jobs include fly tying for the Worth Company and working at Portesi’s pizza. The Borski family would like to thank the staff at Willow Brooke for the loving care of our Mother during her stay there.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter church at 10:30 Thursday June 30. Visitation will be held at the Pisarski funeral home from 4-6 PM on Wednesday June 29 with the St. Peter Rosary Society praying a rosary at 6 PM.
