Elmar H. Saddison, 90, Englewood, Fla., a former Tomahawk
and Junction City resident and father of several area residents, died Tuesday,
June 28, 2016, in Florida. He was under the care of Grand Villa Assisted Living.


A private family service and burial will be held at Central
Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King at a later date.


Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.bostonfuneralhome.net.


Mr. Saddison was born Dec. 4, 1925, in Sturgis, Mich., a son
of the late Charles and Thelma Saddison. He graduated from Colon High School in
1945.


He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1946 and was honorably discharged
in 1947.


He was married to Kathryn Baumeister Oct. 3, 1947. They were
married for 58 years until her death Feb. 23, 2013.


They farmed in Michigan and moved to Junction City in 1958
where they continued farming while he worked at Consolidated Papers until his
retirement.


Following his retirement, they moved to Lake Alice in
Tomahawk and became snowbirds spending winters in Florida.


Survivors include six children, Marlene Ecke, Larry (Donna)
Saddison, James Saddison, Sam (Jan) Nelson, Barbara (Doug Bradford) Saddison
and Mark (Sonya) Saddison; one sister, Mildred Pearson, Constantine, Mich.; one
brother, Robert (Betty), Sturgis, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; and 29
great-grandchildren.


He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Vern, Ray
and Carl.
