Sallie Marie Magalska, 74, Green Bay, a former Stevens Point
resident, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at her summer home in
Hazelhurst.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday,
July 2, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay, with the Rev. Patrick C.
Beno officiating. Burial will be in Most Precious Blood Cemetery in New London.


Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until
the Mass.


A memorial fund has been established in her name.


Blaney Funeral Home in Green Bay assisted with arrangements.

Mrs. Magalska was born Aug. 13, 1941, in Madison, a daughter
of the late William and Ruth Cashin. She grew up in Stevens Point, where she
graduated from Maria High School in 1959.


She graduated from the Wisconsin School of Cosmetology in
Green Bay and worked for several years as a beautician in both Green Bay and
Stevens Point.


She was married to Jim Magalska Oct. 1, 1966. They would
have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this fall.


Together they lived in Maryland, Illinois, Minnesota and
Wisconsin.


She was a member of St. Agnes Parish in Green Bay and Holy
Family Parish in Woodruff.


Survivors include her husband, Jim; four daughters,
Christine Steinlage, Appleton, Lynn (Douglas) Hann, Bloomington, Minn., Kelly (Joseph)
Dreas, Independence, Ky., and Robyn (Dan) Liebl, Burnsville, Minn.; her
siblings, Caryl (Fred) Orlando, Richard (Doris) Cashin, Mary Kay Ruder and
Michael Cashin; and 10 grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by one son, Mark.
