The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) Backcourt
Club will host its 24th annual golf outing to support the UWSP men’s basketball
team Monday, Aug. 1, at the Stevens Point Country Club.

Members of the public are invited to form foursomes to
challenge the UWSP men’s basketball coaches and former players in an afternoon
of golf.

Additionally, current roster players will greet attendees
during golf and at the evening banquet.

The format is a best ball, four-person scramble.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. After golf,
there will be cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m.

A golf awards program, raffle drawing and auction will
follow dinner.

Registrants can sign up for golf and dinner, or dinner only.
Following dinner, UWSP men’s basketball head coach Bob Semling will talk about
last season, the incoming recruiting class and the upcoming 2016-17 season.

Attendees will have an opportunity to share memories with
former Pointer greats, coaches, fans and recent players who have all helped
make UWSP men’s basketball successful and unique.
