Jon D. Westlund, 55, Stevens Point, died unexpectedly Monday,
July 4, 2016, at his home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, at Community
Church in Stevens Point, with Pastor Lester Weko and Pastor Chris Cooper officiating.
Inurnment will be at the Mason Cemetery at a later date.

Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society assisted with arrangements.

Mr. Westlund was born Dec. 29, 1960, in Schweinfurt, Germany,
and a few days later was adopted by Herb and Bonnie Westlund of Mason, Wis. He
moved with his parents to Mosinee, where he graduated from Mosinee High School
in 1979.

He continued his education at Bethel University and Fuller
Seminary, and completed a Master of Theology degree at Bethel Seminary in
Roseville, Minn.

He recently wrote and published his first book “Mental
Health for Everyone.”

Survivors include his father, Herb (Lois) Westlund,
Rothschild; one sister, Joy (Kevin) Gorski, Mosinee; and three brothers, Jim
Westlund, Green Bay, Jeff (Deb) Westlund, Ham Lake, Minn., and Jay (Candi)
Westlund, Wausau.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Westlund.
