Bobby H. Kuehl

Bobby H. Kuehl, 80, Plover, died unexpectedly Friday, July 8,
2016, at home.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July
23, at the Plover-Shuda Funeral Home in Plover. Burial will be at the Plover
Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Saturday,
July 23, with a Plover Veterans of Foreign Wars ritual at 10:15 a.m., until the
service.
Memorials are encouraged to the Badger Honor Flight Inc.

Mr. Kuehl was born April 25, 1936, in Madison, a son of the
late Hugo and Corella Kuehl. He graduated from Madison East High School in
Madison in 1954.
He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served 20
years, ending his career as a recruiter in Stevens Point.
He was married to Evelyn VanDreel in 1985.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10262. He participated
in the Badger Honor Flight in April 2016.
He worked as an oiler at Port Edwards Paper Company until
his retirement in 2001.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Evelyn; three
children, Cheryl (Mark) Henry, Cottage Grove, James (Kim Gilligan), Watertown,
and John (Dodi) Kuehl, McFarland; two sisters, Shirley Fair, Yuma, Ariz., and
Beverly Read, Huntersville, N.C.; six stepchildren, Kari (Paul) Stroik, Peggy
(Billy) Schleizer, Sarah (Brian) Brillowski, Jeff (Pam) VanDreel, Marcia
(Larry) Sheveland and Von VanDreel; two grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Scott Halverson, Stevens Point.
