Imogene M. ‘Jean’ Frost

Imogene M. “Jean” Frost, 88, Plainfield, a former owner of
the Almond Restaurant and Motel in Almond, died Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Wild
Rose Manor in Wild Rose.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, in
the Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial will be in the Plainfield
Cemetery.
Visitation was scheduled at the funeral home from 5 to 7
p.m. Thursday, July 14, and again from 10 a.m. Friday until the services.

Mrs. Frost was born Aug. 4, 1927, in Defiance County in
Ohio, a daughter of the late Rolland and Lenora Fleming Jones.
She was married to Edward J. Makaryk May 1, 1948, in Harvey,
Ill. He died May 19, 2005.
She was later married to Roger L. Frost April 21, 2007. He died
April 21, 2015.
She worked as a teller at M&I Bank in Almond for a
number of years. She then owned and operated Springwater Motel in the town of
Springwater in Waushara County. She also owned and operated the Almond
Restaurant and Motel.
She attended New Life Assembly and the United Methodist
Church in Plainfield.
Survivors include one son, Edward J. (Barb) Makaryk Jr.; one
sister, Eileen Tibbie; three stepchildren, Jack (Jenny) Frost, Colorado, Chuck
Frost, Plainfield, and Brenda (Mark) Young, Tennessee; five grandchildren; five
stepgrandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy
Windsor; and one great-granddaughter.
