A new apartment complex in Plover is nearing completion and will finally open its doors to the public.
Heritage Farm Estates, 800 Commons Circle, is the latest offering for single-family units in Plover. The project was announced by village officials in November of 2014. The 10-building, 72-unit complex was completed in stages throughout 2015 and 2016.
The open house will be held Friday, July 15 from 10 AM to 3 PM and include apartment home tours, snacks and refreshments, as well as a drawing for a $150 Visa gift card.
“This particular development creates living space immediately adjacent to the Portage County Business Park and Crossroads Commons,” said Village Administrator Dan Mahoney in 2014. “We see it as filling a nice niche for residential needs that are very close by shopping and potential job opportunities [and] feel it’s a great fit for a project at that location.”
Mahoney said the estimated value of the development will total $8.5 million to $9 million.
Premier Real Estate Management LLC, located in Brookfield, Wis. is heading the development.
“We’ve literally built this building 50 times,” said Sarah Hillebrand, vice-president of compliance and reporting with Premier.
Rental cost in the new development will be $925 – $1,125 per month, according to Slater. Each building will have 12 units with attached garages, and small pets are allowed.
A large pond was constructed at the center of the development for storm water runoff and aesthetic value.
