To the Editor-

The SPASH Driver Education Department would like to take this opportunity to thank and wish well the almost 250 students and their families for trusting us to teach them the fundamentals of safe driving. We wish you great success and safety as you enter this new phase of your life.

We would also like to thank the Stevens Point School District, the SPASH Community and all of the local businesses and support services that help make our program one of the best in the state of Wisconsin! Without all of their help and generosity we would not be able to offer to our students the diversified experience they receive on a daily basis. If you or one of your family members has taken advantage of our program in the recent past please take time to either patronize or thank one of the following businesses who constantly lend their support to our Driver Education Program at SPASH!

Advantage Mobility, the Stevens Point Child Safety Center, ABATE of WI, Operation Lifesaver of WI, Pete Taggetz State Farm Insurance, the Stevens Point Fire Department, the Stevens Point Police Department, the Portage County Sheriffs Department, the Wisconsin Road Team, the Stevens Point Division of Motor Vehicles, Cooper Oil, the Stevens Point Convention and Visitors Bureau and the all the people of Stevens Point and the surrounding communities who encounter and cooperate with our student drivers on our streets.

A special thank you goes out to Len Dudas Motors of Stevens Point, who supplies our program with the vehicles your sons and daughters drive on the road. Without their willingness to support SPASH Driver Education we would most likely not be able to continue to offer our program to your children.

Once again, thank you! Drive safe, and enjoy the remainder of your summer!

The SPASH Driver Education Department
Chris Haka, Department Leader
