Edward P. Adamus
Edward P. Adamus, 93, Peplin, father of a Stevens Point woman, died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Acorn Hills Senior Living Center in Mosinee.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 21, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Peplin, with the Rev. James Arthur officiating. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Peplin.
Visitation will be at the church from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m., and again from 9 a.m. Thursday until the services.

Mr. Adamus was born Dec. 10, 1922, a son of the late Peter
and Mary Adamus.
He was married to Pauline Suwanski Nov. 15, 1952, at St. John
the Baptist Catholic Church in Peplin. She died July 14, 2007, after 53 years
He was a lifelong dairy farmer.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in
Peplin and was active on the church council, planning and participating in
numerous church picnics and in later years served as the church
Survivors include three sons, Robert (Deborah) Adamus,
Eagan, Minn., Lawrence (Gail) Adamus, Rothschild, and James (Denise) Adamus,
Mosinee; two daughters, Patricia (Thomas) Eckes, Stevens Point, and Carol
(William) Wirsbinski, Eagan, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one great-granddaughter and
two brothers, Charles and Joseph Adamus.
