Plover Police Chief Dan Ault and Capt. Gary Widder have returned Dallas.
The two represented local law enforcement at a memorial service given for five Dallas police officers murdered during a protest earlier this month, having left Plover around 4 AM Wednesday.
“Overwhelming and very moving public support the entire route to cemetery,” Ault wrote via email from Dallas. “Cars on the interstate even pulled over.”
