Virginia Laskowski-Zblewski

Virginia Laskowski-Zblewski, 86, Plover, died Monday, July 18, 2016.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. Edward Shuttleworth officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 21, with a general rosary prayed at 7 p.m. Thursday, and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass.

A memorial will be established for Relay for Life,
amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and veterans.

Mrs. Laskowski-Zblewski was born May 10, 1930, at home in
the town of Hull, one of 15 children of the late Anton and Anna (Kontney) Golla.
She attended Plover Hills School.

She was married to Gerald “Butch” Laskowski July 10, 1948.
He died Dec.28, 1979.

They farmed in the town of Buena Vista until his death.

She was married to Don Zblewski Feb. 4, 1982. He died Feb.
4, 2006.

They resided in Amherst.

She was a member of the Portage County Holstein Society.

She was a member of the St. James Rosary Society in Amherst.

Survivors include two children, Jeff (Barb) Laskowski,
Plover, and Michael (Sherry) Laskowski, Liberty Hills, Texas; five stepchildren,
Bonita Mansavage and Brenda (Jim) Lucas, both of Plover, Robert (Sandy)
Zblewski and Sandra Sadowski, both of Stevens Point, and Randall Zblewski,
Carlton, Minn.; one brother, Greg Golla; one sister, Delores Groshek; four
grandchildren; 21 stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 24
great-stepgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Ed,
Sylvester, Clarence, Ernest and Anthony Golla; seven sisters, Susan Smith,
Cecelia Feltz, Wanda Golla, Alvina Rhode, Alice Smith, Frances Golla and Agnes
Prondzinski; and one son-in-law, Al Sadowski.
