Alban Home Total Loss After Tuesday Fire

A Portage Co. family is homeless after a Tuesday blaze destroyed their home.
Fire crews from Hull, Park Ridge, Rosholt, Stockton and Iola were among those to respond to a house fire on the 9900 block of County Trunk A Tuesday night.
No injuries were reported, and no one was in the home when the fire began.
Rosholt Fire Chief Neil Simonis said the home was already engulfed in flames when crews arrived shortly before 6 PM. The cause of the fire appeared to be electrical, he said.
The Portage Co. Sheriff’s Office, Portage Co. EMS and Red Cross also responded. Crews were on the scene for just over three hours.
