Richard “Dick” Rucinski, 67, Bancroft, died Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Port Edwards, with the Rev. John Swing officiating. Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.

Visitation is scheduled at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28, and at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the services.

Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church in Nekoosa.

Mr. Rucinski was born Nov. 20, 1948, a son of the late Donald
and Bertha Rucinski,

He was a founding member of the Seneca Rough Riders, later
named the Tri-City Riding Club. He spent his younger years as a professional
team roper and traveling to Montana with Gordy Sullivan to visit the Batey’s
ranch.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Terry, Bancroft; four
children, Jenny (Rick) Hoerth, Oshkosh, Joe (Sharon) Rucinski, Manitowoc, Beth
(Tom) Madigan, Reedsburg, and Mike (Marjorie) Rucinski, Pasadena, Calif.; five brothers,
Bob (Judi Schuler), Laramie, Wyo., Bill (Sue), Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Jim
(Bev), Roger and Jerry (Joan), all of Wisconsin Rapids; one sister, Marie (Joe)
Farmer, Wausau; and nine grandchildren.
