Marguerite M. Euler, 97, Plover, died Monday, July 25, 2016,
while under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.


A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30,
at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Howard Hintzman presiding. Burial will be
in Plover Cemetery.


Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Saturday
until the service.


Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church
or Ministry Home Care Hospice of Stevens Point.

Mrs. Euler was born April 17, 1919, in Ironwood, Mich., a
daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Wright) May. She attended grade school in
Shorewood, Wis., and graduated from Shorewood High School in 1936.


She then attended Carroll College in Waukesha, graduating in
1940.


She was married to Ervin G. Euler May 17, 1941, in
Milwaukee. He died Sept. 25, 2006.


They relocated to Pittsburgh, Pa., before returning to the
Milwaukee area. They moved to Madison, before finally settling in Stevens
Point.


She worked as a secretary for the Stevens Point School
System from 1970 to 1980.


She was a member of St. Paul’s United
Methodist Church and the various Methodist Women’s Organizations. She also
volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Lifeline.


She and her husband also served as a host family to foreign
students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.


Survivors include three children, Lawrence (Georgia) Euler,
Madison, Nancy Euler and Carol (Duwayne) Franson, both of Plover; one brother,
William May; one sister, Alice Dennison; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by one sister, Jean Bridge.
