VFW Holding Annual Steak Feed, Fundraiser

The Plover Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 10262 Rifle Squad is hosting its annual Steak Feed Fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM.

The menu includes a 12 oz. rib eye steak prepared over a charcoal fire, fresh corn on the cob, baked potato, fresh garden salad, dessert and milk or coffee.
Tickets for this year’s event are $17.50 each and can be purchased in advance at the post, 2970 Hickory Drive in Plover after 3:00 PM. Limited tickets available at the door.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to purchase equipment for the Plover VFW Rifle Squad, a specialized unit that performs military honors for fallen veterans at all military funerals, conducts ceremonies at area cemeteries on Memorial Day and Veterans’ Day, and supports an award for an Outstanding Cadet at the UWSP – ROTC Annual Military Ball.
