Ramona ‘Dolly’ Chick

Ramona Christine “Dolly” Chick, 89, Plover, died at her home Tuesday August 3, 2016. She was under the care of the Intensive Care and Palliative Care units at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, as well as Ministry Hospice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. Edward Shuttleworth officiating. Interment will be at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.

A Remembrance Reception will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the Mass.

Pisarski Community Funeral Home of Plover assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.

Mrs. Chick was born Jan. 4, 1927, a daughter of the late
Roman and Christine Mayek.

She was married to Leonard “Chick” Chick Jan. 18, 1947. He
died Nov. 5, 2007.

They lived in Stevens Point and settled in Plover in 1968.

She was employed at Sentry Insurance and prior to that, Cozy
Kitchen.

Survivors include three children, Susan (Bill) Treb, Arbor
Vitae, James (Sue) Chick, Plover, and Thomas (Mary Lu) Chick, Westminster, Colo.;
two sisters, Jeanette Mayek and Audrey “Peachy” Zurawski; nine grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Theresa
Scheibe, Marcine Wilkenson and Marilyn Kozickowski; and one brother, Roman.
