Clarence I. Peplinski

Clarence I. Peplinski, 83, Milladore, a town of Amherst native and brother of an Amherst Junction man, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, at his home after a battle with cancer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Blenker, with the Rev. Eric Berns officiating.

Visitation will be at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

The family will designate a memorial in his name at a later
date.

Mr. Peplinski was born Aug. 23, 1932, in the town of Amherst,
a son of the late Clarence and Rose (Lepak) Peplinski. He was a 1950 graduate
of Amherst High School.

In his younger years, he was employed as a machine operator
in Wisconsin Rapids for Consolidated Papers Inc., Paperboard Division.

He was married to Lois J. Bubolz June 26, 1965, in Iowa. She
died May 13, 2011.

They raised six sons on their dairy farm, Pep Acres, in the town
of Sherry in Wood County. He also worked for Jacques Seeds as a seed salesman.

He was a committee member of the Wood County Agriculture
Stabilization and Conservation Service and was a member of both the Select Sire
Breeder’s Association and the Equity Livestock Association.

Survivors include six sons, Paul (MaryJo) Peplinski, Dale
(Kristin) Peplinski, Glen Peplinski, Doug (Renee) Peplinski and Brian (Tracey)
Peplinski, all of Milladore, and Christopher (Lisa) Peplinski, Wisconsin Rapids;
two sisters, Ruby (Clifford) Hunt, Oshkosh, and Christy (Gary) Orear,
Nicholasville, Ky.; one brother, Mike (Mary) Peplinski, Amherst Junction; and 13
grandchildren.
