The Plover 14’s recently took second place in the ASA Class B Northern Nationals in Overland Park, Kan.

In pool play they beat the Easton Tigers Elite 5-0 and the St Louis Surge 16-1. They won their first three bracket games, beating Great Bend Quicksilver 12-4, Elk Grove Heat 3-0 and BNGSA Matrix 13-1.

The team would lose the next game, 9-8, to Intensity and fall into the losers bracket, but fought back by winning the next three games against House of Sports, 8-7, Oklahoma Blaze, 7-3 and Intensity, 4-2 to advance to the championship game where they would fall to the champions, Texas Glory 6-3.

The Plover 14’s ended their season with a very respectable 32-7 record.

Plover 14s roster includes #3 Maddie Brown; #4 Sam Saloun; #10 Hailey Carlson; #18 Alayna Bruneau; #22 Leah Earnest; #24 Kaila Fletcher; #28 Mackenzie Kielblock; #34 Kristin Richter; #42 Annika Johnson; #44 Megan Miklesh; and #50 Amanda Klasinski.

The team is coached by Jason Fletcher, Matt Saloun and Brian Richter.
