Winifred L. “Winnie” Krieg, 75, Mosinee, an Amherst Junction
native, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at Rennes Health and Rehab Center in Weston.


Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at St.
Paul Catholic Church in Mosinee, with the Rev. Donald Przybylski officiating.
Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Halder.


Visitation was scheduled at Beste Funeral Home in Mosinee
from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, with a 4 p.m. rosary service, and at the
church from 10 a.m. Friday until the services.

Mrs. Krieg was born Aug. 18, 1940, in Amherst Junction, a daughter
of the late Art and Rosemary (Masanz) Schilling.


She was married to Leander Krieg June 2, 1962, at St. Paul
Catholic Church in Mosinee.


She worked as a registered nurse for 36 years at St. Mary’s Hospital
and Aspirus Wausau Hospital in the OB department.


Survivors include her husband, Leander Krieg, Mosinee; seven
children, Bill Krieg, Paul Krieg and Mark Krieg, all of Mosinee, Mary Kay
(Scott) Holzem, Wausau, Lori (Robert) Henry, Converse, Texas, Tom Krieg, Weston,
and Dan (Stacie) Krieg, Stratford; one sister, Donna (Bob) Draeger, Waupaca;
and seven grandchildren.
