Larry G. Hetzel

Larry Gene Hetzel, 56, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the services.

A memorial has been established.

Mr. Hetzel was born Sept. 19, 1959, in Wild Rose, a son of the
late Robert and Donna (Walters) Hetzel.

He was married to Cassandra A. Wallace May 4, 1996.

He was most recently employed at Wild Rose Manor as the director
of maintenance, but spent most of his career driving over the road (commercial)
semi-trucks and tour buses.

When Mr. Hetzel wasn’t on the road, he enjoyed spending time with
his family and friends.

He played the drums with a number of area bands.

Survivors include his wife, Cassandra A. Hetzel, Wild Rose;
four children, Tiffny (Eric) Neuber, Robert Hetzel, Stacie (Steve) Gray and
Tony Derro; one brother, Jerry (Cheryl) Hetzel; and one granddaughter.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Hetzel.
