Anne Mary Radue, 98, Stevens Point, died at her home
Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
Aug. 26, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz presiding.
Burial will be at St. Germain Cemetery in St. Germain.


Visitation will be at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point from
3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, and at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the
Mass.


A memorial will be established in her name with the Parkinson’s
Disease Foundation at a later date.

Mrs. Radue was born at home in Milwaukee Oct. 23, 1917, a
daughter of the late Catherine and Martin Zilavy, the second youngest of nine
children. She grew up in Milwaukee.


After graduating from high school, she attended Carroll
College in Waukesha to study nursing.


She was married to Robert William Radue, her high school
sweetheart, Sept. 11, 1940. He died in 1995 after 56 years of marriage.


They lived in St. Louis, Mo., while raising their family.


After she and her husband retired, they spent their summers
at the family cottage in St. Germain.


Survivors include one sister, Theresa Powers, age 101, Brookfield;
three sons, Bill Radue, Stevens Point, Jack (Sue) Radue and Roger (Anna) Radue;
11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by one son at birth, seven
siblings and one grandson.
