Panther Swimmers Open Season With Invite

The SPASH girls swim team splashed into its 2016 season, finishing second in the five-team Panther Invitational held at the SPASH Pool Friday, Aug. 19th.
Neenah High school took first place honors, scoring 108 points followed by SPASH with 86 points, Green Bay Southwest with 48 points, Rhinelander with 42 points and Black River Falls with 22 points.
Panther relay teams took top honors in the 200-yard medley relay (1:53.80), 500-yard freestyle relay (4:59.84) and the 400-yard freestyle relay.
The Panthers return to the pool Monday, August 22 when they host Appleton North. Scheduled start for the dual meet is 5:30 PM at the SPASH pool.
